Biography
Mike Truesdell (1984) received a Bachelor’s Degree from Lawrence University in 2007, after studying at the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2006. He is currently studying at The Julliard School with Daniel Druckman. In 2007 he won 3rd prize at the PAS Marimba Competition. Mike has performed with many musicians including the Lucerne Festival Academy Chamber Ensemble with Pierre Boulez. A lover of non-western styles of music, he co-founded the percussion ensemble Spectrum Trio. In 2009, Mike founded the Wildcat Percussion Camp for young percussionists.
