composition students Royal Conservatoire The Hague, Fontys AMPA Tilburg, Conservatorium van Amsterdam
Composing for percussion can be described as an unique art form. Young composers studying at the Dutch conservatories took on the challenge of writing a brand new piece for percussion in the TROMP Composition Competition. All entries hav been performed by fellow students during TROMP and an expert jury selected a winner after the concert. You could call it the ultimate in being at the forefront of new music.
