Heechan Lee started playing percussion at the age of 12. He started studying orchestral music under Professor Kwang seo Park and Sun-min Shim at the Korea National University of Arts in 2014. He successfully completed his Bachelor's degree in the spring of 2021. He has won prizes in several competitions, including the Italian PAS competition, and has performed in numerous recitals and concerts with various orchestras. In October 2022, he began his ongoing Master's studies in solo percussion at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, studying under Professor Simone Rubino.
