Yuan Xia is currently studying for his master's degree at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Before that he studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He won the Second Prize in the 2021 IPEA International Percussion Competition and the First Prize in the 2022 Jeju International Brass and Percussion Competition.
