Round 1

Fifty participants, selected through an online preliminary round, will perform recitals of up to 15 minutes over three days at CKE Eindhoven. Each candidate is required to present an original composition of 3–4 minutes—often their first experience with composing—alongside 10 minutes of repertoire of their own choosing.

CKE - Cultuur & Kunst Eindhoven

Final

After three days of Round 1 performances by 50 international mallet players, five finalists plus one wildcard entrant will take the stage at CKE Eindhoven. Each finalist will perform a 20–25 minute program of their own choosing — on marimba and/or vibraphone, with all styles permitted.
